The table below shows the consumption (telephone, fridge, etc...) held in the United Kingdom from 1972-1983.

Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information shown below

The graph shows that the percentage of British households with a wide range of durable goods is constantly
increased between 1972 and 1983. The highest increase was in property, rising from 42% in 1972 to 77% in 1983. Then came the asset rises 37% of households centralheating in 1972 to 64% in 1983. The percentage of households with a refrigerator increased 2 1% during the same period and with a washer 14%. Households with vacuum cleaners. TVs and dishwashers increased by 8%, 5% and 2%, respectively. In 1983. Since their introduction, 18% of households have a video recorder.

Significant social change reflected in the statistics are that the proportion of British homes with central heating has increased from one to two thuds, and those with the phone under a half to more than three quarters. Along with a large increase in the property of washing machines and refrigerators, are proof of the rising standard of living and lifestyle trend based on comfort and convenience.
